Campground Rules

  • Alcohol Policy: We are a family campground; excessive use of alcoholic beverages will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave the park.
  • ATV’s and Dirt Bikes: We do allow them. No riding after dark or before 8 am. They are not to be ridden around the campground. We have direct access to a Recreation Trail for your riding enjoyment. Site/Rental to Trail and back only. The speed limit is 5 MPH while inside the campground. You must mention that you are bringing an ATV or Dirt Bike when making your reservation as we do not allow them at certain sites. Day Guests are not allowed to bring ATV’s or Dirt Bikes.
  • Bicycles: Riding bicycles after dark is prohibited. Please Note: NH State Law requires that children under 16 wear a helmet. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on bikes.
  • Campfires: Campfire rings are not to be moved around the site. Fire height is 2 feet maximum (NH State Law). Fires cannot be left unattended. Campers are not to use the campfires to burn trash.
  • Campfire Wood: Due to New Hampshire State Law, campers are prohibited from bringing out-of-state firewood into the state of New Hampshire. Cutting of trees or branches is strictly prohibited. The campground store sells firewood and will deliver to your site upon request. 
  • Check in / Check out: Check in time is 3 pm for cottage and cabin rentals and check out times are 10 am and 11 am respectively. Check in time is 1 pm for sites and check out time is 12 noon. During the summer, the office is open until 8 pm on Friday and Saturday. The rest of the week we are open until 7 pm. In the early or late season, the office closes earlier (call for office hours). In the event you are unable to check-in during our hours of operation, please contact us and make prior arrangements.
  • Electric Powered Scooters and Hoverboards: Safety is our first priority at Twin River Campground. As such, we discourage the use of powered scooters and hoverboards. Helmets and parent supervision are required. Any reckless operation of either will result in revoked privileges.
  • Fireworks: Fireworks are prohibited. Sparklers are allowed.
  • Golf Carts: Personal golf carts are not allowed.
  • Guests: All guests must register and obtain a pass at the office. Daytime guests must depart by 10 pm. There are guest fees for day guests and overnight guests. Limit 4 guests per site. Guests are not permitted to bring pets into the park.
  • Laundry Room: There is a coin operated laundry available for our guests. We do have quarters and detergent / dryer sheets available in the store.

  • Lost and Found: Please bring all found items to the office. The campground is not responsible for any lost personal items.
  • Pets: We are a pet friendly campground, but do ask that all our campers with pets read and abide by the campground’s rules. Please see our Pet Policy.
  • Playground: The playground is open from 8 am to dusk.
  • Pool: Swimming activities are not without risk, therefore anyone under the age of 14 must have a responsible adult (18 or older) to accompany them at the pool. Do not swim alone! Our Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. For everyone’s safety there is no diving or jumping allowed in our pool. No food, alcohol or glass containers are permitted in the enclosed pool area.
  • Quiet Time: Quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am. We do enforce this and violators will be asked to leave. We do allow those that are quiet to still have a fire after 10:00 PM as long as they are being respectful of the quiet hours and those around them. We are a family campground so we do ask no loud music, profanity or abusive language.
  • Respect / Privacy: Please respect the privacy of other campers by not walking through or in between occupied sites. Always be considerate of fellow campers. Please keep all noise levels down. Any radios should be kept on low volume and turned off by quiet time.
  • Restrooms / Bathhouses: We are pleased to offer free hot showers to our campers. We try very hard to keep our restrooms clean for all our campers so please do your share by cleaning up after yourself. We do ask that young children have adult supervision while using the restrooms.
  • Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in public buildings and rental units. Underage smoking is not tolerated.
  • Speed Limit: The speed limit throughout the campground is 5 mph. For everyone’s safety we must ask that you obey the speed limit and keep an eye out for our younger campers traveling around the campground on foot or bikes. We are very strict on the speed limit and those that do not wish to travel at this speed will be asked to park by the office and walk to their site.
  • Trash: Garbage is not picked up at individual sites. Please dispose of all trash in the dumpster provided near the office. Do not dispose of hazardous materials in the dumpster. Do not bring trash from home or burn trash at your campsite. If you have a broken lawn chair, grill, etc. please ask where they can be disposed of.
  • Washing RVs (Campers) & Vehicles: In order to conserve water, we are unable to allow the washing of cars or campers.
